While we maintain an industry sector agnostic approach to our work in the recruitment world, over the past 15 years we have experienced enormous success in the following sectors:

  • Management Consultancy
  • Insurance & Fintech
  • Engineering
  • Oil & Gas
  • Banking & Financial Services
  • Automotive & Aerospace
  • Manufacturing
  • Utilities & Facilities Management

Henderson Bond have gained an enviable track record of success in this specialist area, developing a global network of professionals with expertise in one or more of the following sub sectors. We have built a knowledge bank and experience over many years and are able to supply expert talent on a permanent, contract or interim basis at all levels of the organisation.

Henderson Bond are also able to facilitate the introductions of specialist Management Consultancy partners to industry clients for the provision of consultancy interventions, including Proof of Concept (POC) leading to Pilot Projects through to full Automation programme development and delivery.

Automation Technology is the technology by which a process or procedure is performed none or minimal human assistance. Automation or automatic control is the use of various control systems for operating equipment such as machinery, processes in factories, switching on telephone networks, steering and stabilization of ships, aircraft, including cars and lorries with minimal or reduced human intervention.

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is the term used to describe the automation of many manual transactional processes within Financial Service, Insurance, Banking and Telecommunications sectors with the use of software robots or (Bots)

Artificial intelligence (AI) focuses on getting machines to do things that we would call intelligent behaviour. Intelligence – whether artificial or otherwise – does not have a precise definition, but there are many activities and behaviours that are considered intelligent when exhibited by humans and animals.

Machine learning (ML) is a method of data analysis that automates analytical model building. It is a branch of artificial intelligence based on the idea that systems can learn from data, identify patterns and make decisions with minimal human intervention.

Operational Excellence

Henderson Bond has developed a deep understanding of the Operational Excellence recruitment sector over the past 15 years, with support being provided to many different organisations from start-ups to well-known global Banking and Insurance institutions, to Automotive Manufacturers, Aerospace giants, Oil & Gas, and many of the best-known Global Management Consultancies have partnered with us to identify and attract the world’s best talent in the sector.

Henderson Bond provide recruitment talent solutions to the Business Improvement sector on a Permanent, Contract or Interim basis. We are skilled at building high performing teams and can provide interim or contractor resources for consulting engagements that are flexible, cost effective, and which deliver measurable improvements in performance, profit and capacity.

Operational Excellence is the execution of the business strategy more consistently and reliably than the competition. Operational Excellence is evidenced by results. Given two companies with the same strategy, the Operationally Excellent company will have lower operational risk, lower operating costs, and increased revenues relative to its competitors, creating value for customers and shareholders. It may more simply be interpreted as “Execution Excellence.”

Some interpretations of this management philosophy are based on earlier continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Thinking, Six Sigma, and Scientific Management. However, the focus of Operational Excellence goes beyond the traditional event-based model of improvement toward a long-term change in organisational culture. Companies in pursuit of Operational Excellence do two things significantly differently than other companies: they manage their business and operational processes systematically and invest in developing the right culture.

Operational Excellence manifests itself through integrated performance across revenue, cost, and risk. It focuses on meeting customer expectation through the continuous improvement of the operational processes and the culture of the organization.

Executive Appointments

Henderson Bond understands the importance of an organisation’s C-Suite leadership teams and the role they play in its success or its failure. Each organisation is unique, each culture is unique, therefore each leader needs to be as equally unique. This is where Henderson Bonds experience is valued the most, by getting to know your business from the inside out, understanding your people, culture, strategy and goals, whether your objective is Growth, Merger & Acquisition, Business Transformation & Improvement or Competitive Advantage & Market Positioning.

Henderson Bond is then primed and ready to connect your business to our global network of Senior Executive Leaders, we then partner with you to carefully, and methodically select and introduce the best leadership talent to deliver on your unique strategic objectives.

Organisational leadership is about management. Leadership by itself is transformative, it is about shifting priorities in workers and creating followers through the articulation of a vision. However, when leadership is embedded within the organisation, the definition changes to leadership within, rather than from above. This then becomes the cornerstone of its Organisational Culture.

The definition of organisational leadership has three general features. First, setting the direction and the tone of the organisation is the most central ingredient. This concerns strategic planning, based around very specific and achievable goals. Second, organizational performance management is equally important, in that the organisation, as it changes, must be continually assessed. This means the organisation must be constantly analysed and weak points identified and eradicated. And third, the definition of organisation leadership must include the concept of change. Slowly bringing an organisation from its inertia to dynamism is an important leadership role, and this requires continually changing roles and the concept of roles within an organisation.
